Personal Blog Moment

HEY BLOGGERS!! I have had an awesome summer gaining knowledge, wisdom, spiritual growth and how to let things remain in God's hands for things to work out. Personal experiences really does not have to influence a change in your life or lifestyle. People that have been through trials and tribulations should have a praise on their lips. Being humble and grateful for the things that God has done for you is enough to give God honor and praise. Everyone has a testimony. Struggles come when you live this thing we call "LIFE". Learning can come in so many ways: past, present and by observing your own environment. There are so many things I have had to get ripped away from to humble my Spirit.  I have learned that a persons opinion is not important if God based our perspectives on the Word of God(BIBLE) His Word would not be pure and Holy. So Many times we believe our opinions matters, but here's a NEWS FLASH, it DOESN'T!! Things that does not line up with the Word of God I can no longer let those things impact or be a hold on my life. There are times I do struggle with insecurities and habits, but I know in the end that my reward will be greater in Heaven where Jesus sits on the thrown ruling and covering us with His blood. When  I give things to God and pray and BELIEVE, things have worked out better than I thought they would. I just know that I have a peace of mind when Christ is first in my life and is getting the GLORY OUT OF MY LIFE!

Black Women Being Natural. . . . . ISSUE!!

Soooo!! Hello bloggers! I have to address this issue. . .PROMPTO! So I was on FB(facebook) and my beloved sister posted a link on my page. I was quite disturbed on what I saw. Two women(African Americans) had applied for a job at "6 Flags" and were turned down due to racial discrimination of the way their hair was styled.  They had "DREADS" ya'll. I really dont understand why that is an issue to which someone has a problem with HIRING someone that decides to style their hair different. . . .No one should have to be obligated or put down to any jobs because of their hair. I have been natural for about 4 years now. My hair is a  lot more healthier and stronger than having a chemical getting put in my hair to kill my poor little hair folecules. . .NO ONE I REAPEAT , NO ONE shoould have to deal with discrimination because of their hair. . . And with this racist CRAP!! How can you get mad at someoe because they arent the same race, color or have the same environment as you. 1st) of all no one in the world can choose what color and race they want to be. We are all people just with differences. . .We all breathe the same air, laugh, sing, dance, eat, fart, CRAP, sleep all THE SAME WAY etc. So whats the problem?? I didnt choose to be dark skinned. But I am thankful and greatful that I am blessed to be alive. . .Thats ok!! be Who you are and enjoy yourself!! So as I sit here at work I think..... What is SHWAGG? Well it means to me the actual personality and style that an individual portrays. To Have SHWAGG makes you stand out, not fit into "THE NORM". Different things can apply in life to your personality. How many times in the day do you get compliments, about yourself from others? Many times in your head you throw something on thats in your closet because it looks nice, NEWS FLASH. People like the way you walk, talk and interact. . . Wild SHWAGG, My SHWAGG!!
